Artem Trotsyuk is a bioengineer and computer scientist by training. He completed his PhD in BioEngineering at Stanford Univeristy and his undergraduate at the University of California, Davis where he studied human biology as well as communication and writing. After completing his undergrad, Artem launched his own consulting company that focused on developing and curating an "online voice" on social and web media for individual clients and industry partners.

While at Stanford University, Artem's research encompasses healthcare wearables, particularly the integration of AI and neural networks to develop closed-loop processing units. As a R42 Entrepreneur in Residence he became CTO of Swaza.life, after R42 made an investment.
