Dr. Anne Friedlander
Advisor
Dr. Friedlander is an Adjunct Professor in Human Biology at Stanford University. She has broad research experience in the areas of enhancing human performance, environmental physiology, and using physical activity and mobility to promote healthy aging. She has been teaching exercise physiology classes for decades to diverse audiences and specializes in translating scientific findings on physiology and exercise into practical applications for people. Dr. Friedlander also consults regularly with exercise physiology start-up companies interested in developing new products, programs and ideas in the fitness and wellness space. She received a BA in Biology from Wesleyan University, a Masters and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and conducted her post-doctoral training in the Division of Endocrinology, Geriatrics and Metabolism at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
