Dr. Rickmer Kose has 30+ years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship, ranging from nanotechnology research to sales. He has started six new businesses (two profitable exits and two ongoing)  in a range of industries, most recently in the LiDAR space for autonomous vehicles. Dr. Kose delights in asking tough questions and providing unique points of view.

 

 

Dr. Kose holds an MA in Physics from Berlin Technical University (with thesis research at Aarhus Technical University and the Max Planck Institute in Berlin), and a Ph.D. in nanotechnology from Cambridge University. He is an avid angel investor, serves on the screening committee of the MIT Angels Chapter for Northern California, has published 18 articles in peer reviewed journals, a scientific book chapter and been awarded 4 US patents.
